It's been a while! The past few months I have been incredibly busy, and while I did have time to wear lolita, I didn't have mucht time to post about it. I've completely forgotten to write about the Summer Meet I attended, so I'll start with that!
In July, just before my vacation, I went to the yearly Summer Meet. Normally we go out for a picknick, but because the weather was quite unpredictable, we decided to go to a pancake restaurant in Utrecht. I like to make my coords with the seasons in minds, so light and cheerful colors in spring and summer, and darker tones in autumn and winter. Earlier this year I bought and incredible BTSSB JSK with a Swan Lake print in soft pink and yellow colors. I felt it was perfect for a summer coord and also perfect to rock my classic/sweet look. I paired it with a pretty Angelic Pretty hat and my blond Lockshop wig:
JSK: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
Blouse: Innocent World
Hat: Angelic Pretty
Flower Corsage: Moss Märchen
Bracelets: Señor Bear and Off Brand
Shoes, tights, and necklace: Summer Tales Boutique
I just love all the details on it! :)
The Summer Meet was a lot of fun and it was nice to catch up with everyone. I got to speak with people I normally don't talk to very often and that was very nice!
The next time I dressed in Lolita, it was to visit Katie. I was supposed to help her out with the Bring and Buy stand at the Summer Tales Boutique party, but sadly I wasn't able to attend. I'm sure you have seen the coord I wore to visit her, as I posted it in my previous post. But here it is again:
Sweater, Skirt, hair accessories, shoes, and tights: Summer Tales Boutique
Petticoat: Dear Celine
Jewelry: Señor Bear
Bag: Pinkish White
I tried to go voor casual classic lolita, and paired the skirt with this adorable sweater I bought at Summer Tales last year. It was also my first coord with my own hair this year. I braided it and pinned the braid in a simple roll on the back of my head. It's pretty easy for me to braid my own hair and I think this particular hairdo fits really well with classic lolita! As it was a casual coord I just added two cute haircombs and the small ribbons that match my skirt.
And don't you just love the bag? It was made by Pinkish White and features a beautiful handmade application with a drawing of a lolita!
By the time I got to wear lolita again after this, it was autumn. As I mentioned before, I couldn't attend the Summer Tales meet, so I opted to wear my coord for that meet to my own birthday meet. I went to the Rijksmuseum with some friends. The art was amazing, and the building itself is already worth a visit. The museum houses a lot of Rembrandt's work, but also works from other famous painters. It was quite fun to discover that I knew a lot of paintings from the schoolbooks I had in high school!
I didn't get to take a clear outfit shot, so the picture I have of it is not the best:
JSK: Innocent World
Alice Bow: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
Fur collar, tights, and shoes: Summer Tales Boutique
Up next was a very fun event: Metal Female Voices Festival.
This year, my cousin couldn't go with me, and I hadn't actually planned on going either. But a few months ago the festival announced Head Phones President being part of the line-up and then I knew I had to go. I've been a fan of this Japanese band for years, and I knew this would probably be my only chance to see them. Katie told me during Japan Market that she wanted to go with me and we had a load of fun at the festival!
I didn't dress up in lolita for the festival specifically, so I left my gothic lolita coords at home. On Sunday, we visited F.A.C.T.S., a big SciFi, anime/manga, and comic event in Belgium. For this occasion I dressed up in lolita, and in a very special coord: one with my new Hydrangeas and Butterflies JSK from Innocent World.
I ordered the dress and the matching tights through Summer Tales Boutique and I was super happy that it came in so fast!
This was my coord:
JSK and Tights: Innocent World
Blouse and Petticoat: Dear Celine
I felt super pretty in this gorgeous dress. F.A.C.T.S was a lot of fun to visit. I bought a ton of stuff, haha... We also got to take a picture with Carice van Houten. Here are some pictures of our day:

Another pic of me. Now you can see the pretty ribbon on my dress!

I just couldn't resist, haha...

And now it's time for my last coord. Yesterday I visited the Lady's Night at the Museum of Etnology with my friend Liselotte. They now have a exposition on Geisha and it's definitely worth a visit! I gawked at all the beautiful Kimono they have on display and not to mention all the hair accessories! I dressed in a casual coord for the occasion, and what dress is better for casual than my Metamorphose Café Teddy Applique JSK?
JSK: Metamorphose Temps de Fille
Hair Ribbon: Summer Tales Boutique
Cardigan and tights: Off Brand
I love this dress so much. It was my very first brand dress, so it has some sort of sentimental value to me, haha... Also, this is my second coord with my own hair! I didn't braid it this time and wore it loose. It was quite an adventure for me to add the ribbon to it, as I don't have a very loliable hair style at the moment. But as it is a casual coord I decided not to fuss too much about it. It looked decent enough! :p
I hope you enjoyed looking at all these coords! Thanks for reading!
